 Bangor Hydro Distribution Service rates are regulated by the Maine Public Utilities Commission (PUC). Our Transmission Service rates are regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Below are tables of most of Bangor Hydro's retail rates by rate code and customer class. These Bangor Hydro T&D rates are only two components of the customer's overall per kWh rate. The total bill for electricity also includes the amount of money customers pay for their Electricity Supply. These costs are not included in the tables below. Many customers currently receive their Electricity Supply Service from the PUC's Standard Offer program.
